Abstract

The article discusses the influence of literature for those people suffering from posttraumatic stress. It cites on several books and novels based on the Iraq War including "The Yellow Birds", "Fire and Forget", "Redeployment" and "These Heroic, Happy Dead". The article also presents a poem entitled "Letter Composed during a Lull in the Fighting" written by Kevin Powers.
