Abstract

Reading the stories of the pioneers of the feminization of the Armies shows that if those who accompanied the soldiers of the Second World War and Indochina were quickly adopted, others who entered the service in the absence of open conflict, after the late 1970s, took more than thirty years to be accepted, mainly due to the reluctance of men to see them alongside them. Among the determinants of success of their integration, one finds the sharing of risks and difficulties associated with operations and the assigning of unrestricted tasks.
