Von Liebe sprach damals keiner: Familienalltag in der Nachkriegszeit

This volume analyzes on the basis of nine life stories the situation of women in Germany after the Second World War in the four occupation zones. It describes the everyday life of these women with their families, in their households, at the work place and in public. One major theme is the struggle of all the women who were left alone after the conflict as war widows or soldier's wives waiting for their men returning from POW camps.
