Rambo: First Blood Part II

Rambo: First Blood Part II is the second installment in the Rambo franchise. Sylvester Stallone reprises his role as John Rambo, a Vietnam War veteran. The story follows Rambo, who is having a hard time in prison. His former boss, Col. Troutman (Richard Crenna), offers him a deal: if Rambo travels to Vietnam to try to find the American prisoners of war, but not to rescue them, his criminal record will be expunged. Rambo takes the reconnaissance assignment and agrees not to get involved in any of the action. However, when his Vietnamese lover, Co Bao (Julia Nickson), is killed by American forces, Rambo forgets his promise and takes matters into his own hands. The film is a sequel to First Blood (1982) and is followed by Rambo III (1988), Rambo (2008) and Rambo: Last Blood (2019).
