For the Love of My Country: Desert Storm

This collection of notes written by an American Red Cross employee who was deployed to relief efforts during Operation Desert Storm, offers an understanding of what the U.S. military and their dependents endure during deployments.  The author recaptures events from some of the notes she took while she was there; the book therefore illustrates the experiences the author endured as someone who had never before been involved with the military.
