Abstract | In this book, the author discusses and indicts neoliberal imperial politics. This chapter specifically deals with the gendered dimension of neoliberalism, and the author argues that sexual politics and the sexual/racial/gender systems of violence have new exposure and visibility because militarism and militarization redefine both masculinism and femininity, alongside a hyper-sexuality and neoracism that construct new-old racialized gender formations. The article therefore focuses on what the author terms "the resexing of gender" in the past quarter-century in order to better understand this stage of highly militarized global capital. |
