Abstract

In this book, the author discusses and indicts neoliberal imperial politics. This chapter specifically deals with the gendered dimension of neoliberalism, and the author argues that sexual politics and the sexual/racial/gender systems of violence have new exposure and visibility because militarism and militarization redefine both masculinism and femininity, alongside a hyper-sexuality and neoracism that construct new-old racialized gender formations. The article therefore focuses on what the author terms "the resexing of gender" in the past quarter-century in order to better understand this stage of highly militarized global capital.
