Female Perpetrators; Male Victims

For many principled feminist, pacifist and human rights campaigners, incorporating the existence of female perpetrators into their analysis of sexual abuse has been hard. This chapter examines female perpetrators and male victims of sexual abuse, a category which has been little-studied in the feminist analysis of sexual violence. In this chapter, the author argues that rates of female sexual violence have been rising, and that it is not anti-feminist to address this problem.
