Abstract

In existence since 1981, the Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies has preserved film of interviews with Holocaust survivors and witnesses in New Haven, CT since 1979, and the originals have been deposited at the Yale University Libraries. Since then, the collection has grown to more than 4,000 testimonies comprising over 10,000 hours of footage, all compiled by more than 35 projects across North America, South America, Europe, and Israel. Users must create an account for Yale University Libraries' special collections and complete a request to conduct research with these materials.
