La femme militaire: Des origines à nos jours

One of the first overviews of the history of military women from Antiquity to the post-1945 period. The volume compares the different forms of female employment in the military and their  evolution during the middle ages, early modern time period and modern times mostly in  major countries of  Western Europe. The diverse  forms participation of women and their change over time are hightlighted with this approach. The focus  of the volume is on the the two world war wars of the twentieh century.
