In the Name of the Father

In the Name of the Father is based on the true story of the Guildford Four and Maguire Seven, whose wrongful convictions reveal the extent of corruption in the early years of the Irish Troubles. The British Army arrest Gerry Conlon, a young Irish petty thief, as well as his father and other relatives after a London bombing kills five people. After languishing in prison for fifteen years, Conlon's new barrister uncovers evidence that proves his innocence and willful wrongdoing by the investigative team.
