Judaica Universitätsbibliothek: Judaica Frankfurt

Supported in part by the European Commisssion and created by the Goethe University (Frankfurt am Main), the library's digital collection unifies a wide range of historical sources on Jewish cultural heritage held in a range of repositories in the library. The thematic database includes a range of special topics, including materials on the Rothschild family, on the Jewish community of Frankfurt, on Yiddish culture, and other topics. Part of the Judaica Europeana project, this archive comprises a contribution to a partnership with 30 other institutions in the US, Israel, and other parts of Europe, created with the goal of integrated access to all digital content. The search and browse features are accessible in English, while materials themselves are in a range of relevant languages, with German, Yiddish, Hebrew, English, and French being the most common.
